Raisin Bread


  1. Preheat Oven to 375°
  2. In a large bowl combine raisins, butter, sugar, and hot milk. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Let mixture cooltolukewarm. Set it aside. 
  3. In another medium mixing bowl blend bread mix, yeast and cinnamon then add it to the other bowl. 
  4. Add eggs and mix well using dough hooks for easy blending. Place dough in well-greased 9 v5 inchpan. Smooth top of loaf and let rise for 30 minutes. 
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and place on wire rack – cool before slicing. 


  • 1 Pkg. Duinkerken Bread Mix
  • 3 Tsp Quick Rising Yeast 
  • 3 Tsp Ground Cinnamon 
  • 1 ½ Cups Scalded Milk 
  • 2 Eggs 
  • ¼ Melted Butter
  • 1 Cup Raisins 
  • ¼ Cup Sugar
