Chocolate Pudding Cake


  1. Preheat oven 350F
  2. Grease the bottom of 9-inch square cakepan.
  3. In a small mixing bowl add brown sugar and cocoa.Blend together and set aside.
  4. Empty cake mix in a large mixing bowl. Add eggs, milk, and oil. Mix well until batter is smooth and then spread onto greased pan.
  5. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cocoa mixture and then pour boiling water over batter.
  6. Bake for 40 mins. Let stand for 15-20 mins. before serving.
  7. Spoon into dessert dish and spoon sauce over each serving.
  8. Top with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.


  • 1 pkg Duinkerken Chocolate Cake Mix
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup oil
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coco powder
  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water
